- 1977-11-17 Named on the Bloomfield Wildcats varsity basketball roster for 1977-78 (6-6, Junior), per the Daily Statesman sports preview 'Wildcats have height, experience for 1977-78' by Cherie Stone.
- 1977-11-30 Bloomfield Wildcats; made one of two free throws in the fourth quarter vs Bernie.
- 1977-12-05 Bloomfield Wildcats junior; sustained a neck injury with about 50 seconds remaining in the game and was taken to Dexter Memorial Hospital. Coach Randy White said Sanders was "very dizzy and in a lot of pain" and thought it might be whiplash, but was not positive of the exact injury. Context suggests the injury came in the 69-65 consolation loss to Holcomb, when Bloomfield was ahead with about a minute left. Scored 8 points in that game. (Box: 4 FG, 0 FT... printed 4 0 1 8.)
