Dexter High senior broke the 14-year-old Dexter High School single-season rushing record (962 yards, set by Jim Bland in 1963), rushing for 151 yards against Poplar Bluff; totaled 1,024 yards in eight games, reaching his personal 1,000-yard goal. Leading rusher for the Bearcats and the north conference with two games remaining in his final prep season. Bearcats lost to the Poplar Bluff Mules 49-30 on Poplar Bluff's homecoming.
