- 1977-12-28 Oma Fisher of Bloomfield, pictured finishing Christmas preparations, joined Lena Briney and Peggy Higgins this year for their annual Christmas open house showing doll-and toy-making results of year-long activity; the group completed 217 pieces including children's mittens and vest, displayed Dec. 17 at the open house and later distributed by the Bloomfield Jaycee Wives to the homes of Bloomfield children; five-year tradition. 'We don't repeat toys,' she said. Feature story by Florence C. Olsen.
